Yesterday a quick tornado rolled through Southampton damaging homes and cars. It was an odd and unpredicted situation, with many sightings in Tuckers Town and Southampton. Apparently it was so fast that it came and went in seconds, not even leaving enough time to get up. By the time witnesses managed to get outside there were pieces of slate from the roofs scattered all over the ground.
I can say without question that this is the result of climate change. I lived in Bermuda all my life and the most extreme weather has been hurricanes but tornado's are something that i've never heard of anything like this is my life. My heart goes out to those affected by this storm and hope it will serve as a reminder to Bermudians of the drastic affects that Global Warming can have.

I agree with you. Although I have never been to Bermuda so I wouldn't know what the weather is. There is a definite problem with climate change. Global Warming is a serious matter that if our government doesn't deal with, we could all be in serious trouble!
interesting article, you mention how the tornado only touched down for literaly one second so i dont think anyone was hurt but it probably was inconvient. I agree with you that Climate change probably has something to do with it. Bravo
